ACODE is seeking the services of a consultant to undertake a compliance assessment of the FY2025/26 annual budget to the climate change goals, objectives, interventions, and targets mainstreamed in NDPIV. The overall purpose of the assignment is to evaluate the degree of compliance with the annual Budget for FY2025/2026 concerning climate change goals, objectives, interventions, and targets outlined in the Fourth National Development Plan (NDP IV). It should be noted that the implementation of the climate measures/interventions in NDP IV must be accompanied by a commensurate financial resource allocation in the budget. The assessment's findings will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of budget allocations in addressing climate change and promoting sustainable development, ultimately informing evidence-based decision-making and policy implementation.
